The Anderson County Courthouse is at 100 E. 4th in Garnett. The District Court page lists the mailing address as P.O. Box 305, Garnett, KS 66032, phone (785) 448-6886, fax (785) 448-3230, and hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The county homepage says courthouse entrances are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., so court counter hours and building entrance hours are not identical.

The courthouse is also a historic local landmark. Kansas Tourism says it was dedicated July 4, 1902, designed by George P. Washburn, built in Romanesque style, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. National Register material places construction in 1901-1902 and notes that Garnett became the county seat after the earlier county seat at Shannon.
